Andree A. Turner, Sr.
President

Brother Andree A. Turner, Sr. is a member of Campbell A.M.E. Church (Frankford), Philadelphia District, Philadelphia Conference of the First Episcopal District.  He is a fourth generation A.M.E. and has served his local church as a Steward, Vice-President of the Usher Board, Secretary of the Men’s Chorus, First Vice-President of the Local Lay Organization, and currently serving as a Trustee under the Reverend Dr. Theresa H. Smith.

 

 He is also currently the President of the Philadelphia Conference Lay Organization.
Brother Turner is the husband of Mrs. Joanne A. Turner, Lay President of Mt. Zion A.M.E Church, Norristown, for forty-four years.  He is the proud parent of eight children and six grand-children.
He has attended Montgomery County Community College, Delaware Valley College and St. Joseph’s College, class of 1973, excelling in Biology and History.  

 

He is a retiree of Merck & Co., Inc. and now employed by the UPHS Health System as a Perioperative Assistant in the operating room at Penn/Presbyterian Medical Center.


His favorite verses from the Holy Bible are from Acts 3:1-10.  His favorite song is “I’ll Fly Away.”
