Sharon D. Drew
President
Sharon D. Drew represents a true spirit of altruism and a dedicated servant of the Lord. Sharon is a native of Chester, Pennsylvania and was raised to include God in all that she does. After graduating from Chester High School, she went on to earn her Bachelor of Science Degree from Delaware State University (then Delaware State College), and completed graduate studies at Long Island University, New York University, Baruch College, and CW Post College. She married her College Sweetheart, the late Dr. Martin A. Drew shortly after graduating from Delaware State college. They were married for over 50 years. In the Lay Organization, Sharon served as Vice-President, Secretary, and later as President at her local church in Rockville Centre. She was also very active on the New York Conference level and chaired the King/Queen contest, assisted the Director of Public Relations with the yearly journal for the Annual Banquet each year, and made herself available to assist in whatever capacity she was needed. After her retirement, Sharon moved to Delaware but continued serving others in her retirement. She is a trained HIV/AIDS counselor and has served as a volunteer with Beautiful Gate Outreach Center and the Outreach Ministry feeding at Emmanuel Dining room. Sharon is an active member of Bethel A.M.E. Church in Wilmington, Delaware.
