BISHOP Stafford J.N. Wicker, Lay Commissioner.
Bishop Stafford J.N. Wicker was assigned to the 8th Episcopal District at the close of the 51st Session of the General Conference held in Orlando, Florida, July 2021. He is serving the areas of South Mississippi, North Mississippi, Central North Louisiana, and Louisiana.
BISHOP JULIUS HARRISON MCALLISTER, SR., the 129th elected and consecrated bishop of the African Methodist Episcopal Church, was appointed Presiding Prelate of the First Episcopal District of the African Methodist Episcopal Church on July 10, 2021, during the 51st Quadrennial Session of the denomination’s General Conference, held in Orlando, Florida.
We were also pleased to welcome MOTHER JOAN MARLA MCALLISTER as our new Episcopal Supervisor.
The First Episcopal District of the African Methodist Episcopal Church comprises seven conferences (Delaware, New England, New Jersey, New York, Philadelphia, Western New York, and the British Overseas Territory of Bermuda) and covers the Northeast Corridor of the United States.
